Exemptions for students of the Actuaries Institute, Australia

If you have completed degree programmes at universities which have agreements with the Actuaries Institute we can grant exemptions from some of our exams

Curriculum 2019 notice: Applications from individuals from other actuarial associations that we have agreements with, for subjects passed before December 2018 will be considered. Individuals will have until December 2023 to claim their exemption. Examinations sat after December 2018 will be subject to further discussions with those associations. Further details will be released shortly, but in the first instance you should make contact with your own actuarial association.

Macquarie University  
Actuaries Institute exams passed IFoA Fellowship exemptions
Part I You may be eligible to apply for exemption from any of the CT1-8 exams
Part II A - the Actuarial Control Cycle You may be eligible to apply for exemption from CA1
